Wed. April 18 — English 10

English 10 blocks did slightly different activities today. It was collaborative day, so we only had about an hour each period, plus the MYP fair is tomorrow, so many grade 10s were busy putting the final touches on their presentations.

Block E:  students finished their horoscopes and their Romeo & Juliet dialogues. The scenes featured Capulet and Lady Capulet discussing Juliet and plans for her arranged marriage.

Block G & H: We didn’t have time for the horoscope activity, so pairs of students worked on either writing a new Capulets scene, or rewriting the famous Romeo and Juliet balcony scene as a series of text messages.
